Ardning Alm Lodge

Ardning Alm Lodge

At the rustic Ardning Alm Lodge you are only a few steps away from marvelling at the Haller Mauern Range. The lodge is a place to unwind, plan your next hike or simply to rest, with Karin and Karl always on hand to indulge their guests with delicious meals and drinks.

There’s no hiking highway in Ardning. Things there go slow and that’s a good thing because Ardning is a village where people come to relax and will hopefully do so for many years to come. From the other side of the mountain you can almost hear the Upper Austrians speaking their dialect – the neighbouring state is only a stone’s throw way.

Hi there neighbour!

Numerous hiking tours departing from Ardning Alm Lodge will make the heart of any mountain lover beat faster and some of them even like to cross borders! On a hike to Bosruckhütte Lodge or to Rohrauerhaus Lodge you can simply go ahead and say “Hi there Upper Austria”. During the winter season it’s the ski tourers who are the ones rubbing their (gloved) hands together with glee because they are sure to find what they are looking for.

Mountain Lodge Ambience.

The lodge has got a thing for music. At monthly meet-ups the musicians in the region get together and everyone’s invited to sing along. In case that’s not really your cup of tea you can also just listen. Socializing has always been a part of the lodge’s history, just like hearty meals and refreshing drinks, such as Gesäuse-Perle. Ardning Alm Lodge: a lovely place with lots of potential for scenic hikes and a well-deserved rest.
